Five motel rooms have been reserved for this trip, Pack 175 has expressed an interest in this trip and we will turn over one of the rooms to them. If you and/or your son plan on this skiing trip, we need to know by January 4 Th. 2005.
ADVANCEMENT:
there were two rank advancements and five merit badges earned this past month.
HI-ADVENTURE: Philmont has five openings for Scouts, Adults are set. This may be the last Philmont trip for two years, we have no 2006 reservation. So look ahead and sign up your Scout, this may be the last opportunity. Call and discuss this with Jason 404-373-4562.

CAMP 175: The problem of opening the camp was discussed and a resolution approved to place a lock box on the inside and outside of the James G. Paine Lodge. The outside box would be combination keyed for the lodge key. The inside box keyed for the gate keys. Also new locks would be purchased for the two gates. We need to check again on the funds we have outstanding for the inside gate repair.
No news yet from the Corp of Engineers on our lease renewal. Frank Golley is keeping a close watch on this at the church.
