Meeting was held at the scout hut. Attending: Charlie Gowing, Wayne Weeks, Frank Golley, Harry DeMille, Jeff Hayden, Gary Motter.
Harry DeMille opened the meeting with a prayer.
Secretary’s Report: The May Minutes were approved as submitted.
Treasurers Report: $2182.99
Harry DeMille noted that this is the 70th anniversary of Cub Scouting.
Harry DeMille advised we need representative to assist John Lee for the Soapstone Ridge Unit Representative on the District Committee.
Scoutmaster Frank Golley needs adult volunteers to accompany the Troop on the August 27-28 overnight trip to Lake Winfield Scott with a 3 mile hike up blood mountain. This is an easy trip would be ideal for new parents and new scouts..
Scoutmaster Golley would like a volunteer to manage web site.
Soapstone Ridge District SLT training will be conducted on September 15.@ St Timothy Methodist Church on Memorial Drive. If you are not trained, good chance to get this done. See Eric Weber.
Jason Uchitel will teach a Camping class in the near future with the date to be announced.
The Troop 175 Annual Scouts Parents tube steak/softball game taking place on August 16. Please be there to help the adults keep the winning title.
